Who are we?:
Keep Smiling is an (currently) unofficial international fan club
(not a fansite)
created by fans, dedicated to the rising jpop idol, Nami Tamaki who's
works were famously featured in Gundam Seed/Destiny as well as Square
Enix's Radiata Stories. This website was specifically developed to act
as a starting point to give fans a chance to know us better.
A great deal of our active members are in the forums. so I would
like to really encourage you to join if you are able to. Most of our discussion and activities are all there.
We are a team of dedicated fans with the intentions of supporting Nami to the fullest
by creating an international fan club to gather fans around the world in support of Nami.
Why?
Because we can. No, seriously, as we have stated above, we are a team of Nami fans hoping to bring international fans
together as her official fan club; Amour did so in Japan, but is limited to Japanese residents only.
The Beginning:
The club was founded in
August 26, 2004 by Heaven and was currently under the name of Shining
Star. This idea had been looming around since the release of Nami's
debut single Believe, which had been broadcasted in numerous jpop
tv shows seen on I-TV. It was not until her debut in the U.S that won
her a fan base here in the U.S, thus the birth of Shining Star. It was
not until a few months into the project did we decide to change its
name to Keep-Smiling.
